Terms of service

These terms govern the use of warmup.rocks, a cache-warming service operated by this:matters GmbH, Hasen 64, 6462 Lauerz, Switzerland ("we", "us"). By creating an account you accept these terms.

1. The service

warmup.rocks periodically requests pages of your website from multiple locations so that CDN edge caches stay populated ("cache warming"). Scope, limits and features depend on the plan you choose — see Billing & plans.

2. Accounts and domain verification

You need an account (e-mail address, passwordless login) to use the service. You may only add domains that you own or are authorised to manage; we verify this via DNS record or response header before scheduled warming starts. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to burden, attack or disrupt websites — including your own beyond its intended purpose — or to circumvent third-party security measures you are not authorised to configure. We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or attempt to warm domains without authorisation.

4. Plans, trial and billing

Paid plans renew monthly and start with a one-time 7-day free trial (card required, nothing charged before the trial ends). Payments are processed by Revolut Business. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period. Details: Billing & plans. Prices are in USD and exclude VAT where applicable.

5. Availability

We operate the service with reasonable care and aim for high availability, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Warm runs depend on third-party infrastructure (CDNs, proxy networks, your origin server) that is outside our control. Planned maintenance and short deploy interruptions may delay individual runs.

6. Your responsibilities

Cache warming sends real HTTP requests to your website. You are responsible for ensuring your origin and hosting plan can handle the configured request volume, and for configuring your firewall or bot protection to admit our warmer where desired (see Analytics & WAF filtering).

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence; in all other cases it is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit or data loss caused by third-party services.

8. Termination

You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination of a paid plan the account drops to the free tier at the end of the paid period; scheduled warming stops.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by e-mail or in the dashboard; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Place of jurisdiction is the registered office of this:matters GmbH (Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland), subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
